The 1994 Regional Campout was held at Ogden Group Campground on the Deschutes National Forest near LaPine, Oregon
Between 35 and 40 people showed up from Boise, Seattle, Crater Lake, and the Portland area. Kathy O'Brian from the Deschutes National Forest came to greet our group. We were under fire restrictions so the original plan of barbecuing turkeys had to be changed. But RPCV's know how to adapt and a new tradition was started. Our main course was Jambalaya.
Sunday morning was our traditional pancake breakfast served by the Idaho group. Beryl Brinkman brought a portable shower- solar heated for those who wanted to get a bit of dust off of themselves.
