1997 Diamond Lake Regional Campout
The 1997 Regional RPCV Campout was held at Diamond Lake in Southern Oregon. Diamond Lake is situated between two major mountains, Mt. Thielsen- Lightning Rod of the Cascades, and Mt. Bailey. A number of campers climbed Mt. Thielsen, approximately a 4000 ft. elevation climb from the starting point on Highway 138.
